Premagic has been shortlisted for Best AI for Sponsorship Activation and Measurement at the ETL Awards: AI Edition 2026 for reimagining event sponsorship with Informa Connect at the Middle East Event Show 2025.
We are thrilled to share that Premagic has been shortlisted for Best AI for Sponsorship Activation and Measurement at the Event Technology Awards: AI Edition 2026, a leading recognition for innovation in event technology.
This recognition means even more given our history with the ETL Awards. At the Event Technology Awards 2025, Premagic won Best Use of AI for Marketing an Event award. Being shortlisted, this time at the AI Edition, is a strong signal that the work we are doing continues to resonate with the industry.
The nomination is based on the work we did with Informa Connect at the Middle East Event Show 2025. Informa, one of the world's largest event companies running around 800 events a year across 60 countries, wanted to go beyond the standard sponsorship playbook. Lanyards and badge placements are visible during an event. They wanted something that lasted longer and could be measured.
Working with Informa, we introduced a new sponsorship category called the AI Event Gallery Sponsor. Instead of static logo placements, the event's main sponsor received full branding across a personalised, AI-powered photo gallery delivered to every attendee. Every photo carried the sponsor's watermark. A branded landing page greeted attendees when they accessed their images. A native sponsor video ad was embedded within the gallery. And a persistent logo linked directly to the sponsor's website throughout.
The results were concrete. 20,083 photos were captured and distributed, each carrying the sponsor's branding. The gallery received 17,141 views. 6,903 branded photos were downloaded and shared by 2,309 unique advocates. The sponsor video received 3,506 impressions, 1,119 clicks, and 36 direct calls-to-action.
As Amar Daginawala, Exhibition Director at Informa Middle East, put it: "What stood out with Premagic was how effortlessly it blended into the MEES experience. It was not just about sponsor visibility. It was about creating meaningful touchpoints with attendees and giving our partners something measurable to walk away with."
Informa has since incorporated this sponsorship format into their decks for future events. That commercial adoption is the clearest validation we could have asked for.
This shortlisting means a great deal to us. Sponsorship has long been measured in estimated impressions. We believe it should be measured in real outcomes. This nomination is a step towards that becoming the norm.
